 I met Cecelia through our employment with the City of Pocatello, and my specific interaction with her was in late 1999.  At that time, the City was planning to host several Millennium celebrations, one of which was the musical "The Lively Story of Pocatello".  When the original director left the production, Cecelia was asked to take his place.  She did a wonderful job of continuing the vision, adding her own touches to the show, and managing a large cast.  The show was a tremendous success and an event citizens still remember.

Cecelia's soft spoken demeanor belies her abilities.  She is assertive when she needs to be but is not aggressive.  She is well spoken and capable of making her position and goals known.  She strives to always do her best.

It is without hesitation that I recommend Cecelia Rupp also known as Polly Ester the Clown.  We have had the privledge to have Polly Ester perform at our library on at least three occasions.  Each time has been a wonderful experience for the children and adults.  Cecelia, on one occasion, generously filled in for us when another performer cancelled.   she did face painting and was very patient with each child, staying until everyone who wanted a turn got one.  I am also impressed with how fast Polly can tie balloons.  She has great skills and speed in balloon tying.   Her ventriloquism is also very impressive.  She brings a lot of variety to her performance, which keeps her audience with her at all times.  We often have a very young crowd and she has always managed to keep their attention.

I just can't say enough about what a fun, entertaining clown Polly Ester is.  Just recently we had Polly Ester at our library and we had over two hundred people attend.  We have been flooded with positive patron comments about Polly Ester.  Everyone had a wonderful time.  Cecelia has always shown great professionalism in her conduct and I enjoy getting to work with her.  Cecelia is a kind, generous person and has a lot of enthusiasm for her work.  She would be a great asset to any employer.
